Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC) provides 75 students each week with food to take home to their families on the weekend due to food insecurity. SCAC already has volunteer groups providing the food for the weekends, but what they would like to have is a goodie bag for each of these 75 students, each week, that provides a fun treat for them to look forward to. We have offered to support this program for 3 months of the 2023-2024 school year (October, January, April) by collecting snack items to create these goodie bags. We are looking for snack donations and volunteers to meet on Wednesday, October 11th at SouthBrook from 7-8pm to assemble these goodie bags and write some notes of encouragement for these students! Please consider joining us for an hour to help put these together.
